Currently Living at: foster in DC, but needs to move so we are looking for a new foster home for Jerry!!

Jerry is a small type of Shepherd mix, we think sheltie mix!!!

He is about 2 years old. He is tan and white with a black muzzle. Jerry's coat is medium length. He weighs about 30-35 pounds, a perfect size for an apartment!

Jerry has some issues with cats, meaning he likes to chase them the entire day. We also think that Jerry would not be good around children younger than 12.

Other than that he is very snuggly and loves to play with toys. He is very sweet and affectioned but needs an owner with some dog experience to work with him. He chooses his dog friends very carefully and can sometimes be nice and sometimes not so nice, so he really needs to make a good match in a multiple dog home.

Jerry is such a sweetheart, but nobody sees that in him because he gets too excited at the high-energy close quarters at adoption events. At home he is such a love bug. He plays with the fosters dog very well and when they stop he snuggles right next to her to sleep.

Like most shelter dogs, he may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
